Make a Wish: A maternity photoshoot with mother nature

mother and nature
Our team absolutely loves honoring your current life’s chapter with a photoshoot, and there’s nothing quite like a maternity session with mother nature. This beautiful collection of images is by Brianna Trammell, and we think she absolutely nailed the setting for this beautiful mama’s maternity photos!
A photoshoot is an invaluable way to preserve life’s fleeting phases as you anticipate the turn of the next chapter; but it’s also so much more than that. A maternity session offers a chance to pause. To reflect. To be present with your body and baby. To capture, one last time, your family as it is now — before crossing the threshold into something entirely new.
Our wish for your pregnancy is that you are able to foster presence — with yourself, with the baby in your womb, and with your loved ones who are about to turn life’s next page with you. We wish you moments of mindfulness, where you can turn inward, recognize the wisdom of your body and baby, and envision the birth that’s about to unfold.
Because our photographers are also doulas, there’s something extra special about a maternity session with us. We not only look at you and your family through the lens of our camera — we truly see you and honor your wishes for this transformative season of life. As birth keepers, we hold space for the sacred…and that includes your pregnancy photoshoot.

This blog post was written by Shay Gabriel, a content creator at Sprout and Blossom and mother of two who swears she was reborn through giving birth. Shay believes that everyone deserves an empowered perinatal experience, no matter the twists and turns. Her own birth stories are quite surprising tales, and you can find them both here on the blog.
